We wrapped up our first science unit: Inquiry into Circuits and Electricity in October. Student experienced hands-on learning regarding open circuits, closed circuits, switches, composition of lightbulbs and batteries. Our final experiment was to see if we could make a bulb light using lemons as an electron source. After patiently hooking up 26 lemons together, we declared the experiment a bust. A group of students stayed in at lunch and helped us make our lemons into lemonade for all to enjoy.
